From Dr. Andy Rhyne - [Mithrax sculptus] are one of the easiest species I have ever cultured. They need movement and good water quality, lots of Artemia. They like something to settle out own, the megalopa will settle before it molts into a crab. M. forceps is much easier to rear, I got about 90% survival with those and about 30% or so with M. sculptus. |

Wondering if this is the Red Mithrax crab sold into the hobby - SeaLifeInc.net puts their Red Mithrax as M. ruber, not M. forceps. |
