I hope they are entering sexual maturity. They have grown quite a bit. I have them 3 or 4 to a tank, in the hopes that some pairs will form and spawn for me. The parents have stopped spawning, and were sold. |

I've sold some, but they are not big sellers, and don't command a high price, although its better than ocellaris price. Mostly after meta, they did not die for no apparant reason. The next batch did not fare so well. I neglected to keep their tank clean, and in preparation to move them out of the tank I disturbed a rotting mass of uneaten food in their tank, a sulfur smell ensued, and I removed them from the foul water. Almost all those juveniles subsequently died. Perhaps poisoned.... :( |
