Hey all!

I am looking to get some more diversity in my cultures. Specifically the algae's as I am currently only growing Nano (I hope it's still a pure strain? still need to take a look back at it under the scope) and would like to feed a diversity of algae's instead of just one. I also have rotifers, and brine shrimp...would love to do more of the pods too.

Looking to set up live mysis shrimp culture, and algae's (non diatom at this point...unless someone can convince me it's worth trying...lol). Thinking maybe tetra, and iso...??? Eager to try just about anything!

I would like to start with an already liquid suspension for algae's. So I am asking if anybody would be willing to ship, or if you're close by I can drive and pick up. I am in Central (Ames) Iowa, shipping to 50014 area code. Please let me know what you've got, and how much you want for a starter of it! Willing to Paypal funds and I will cover shipping.

I don't know anybody who sells mysis starters, but you can get mysids from SeahorseSource.com too. See http://www.seahorsesource...p/detail.cgi?id=201153

Seahorse Source also sells Algagen copepods, but for most of those, you should probably have some live phyto such as Isochrysis going first. That said, you can easily culture Moina salina on preserved algae pastes.
