Well I had another 100% hatch three days ago. I have only lost about 150-200 larvae. To my surprise today I found another clutch of eggs . It's the same size as my last clutch. The best thing is that it has only been 9 days since my last spawn!!!!!!!!!

Here are some pictures the first pictures are of the clowns at 48 hours, the next are them at 60, then pictures of 84 hours old, and finally the clutch laid yesterday.

60 hours- Note these pictures were taken of a dead larva, I believe that it was damaged during siphoning

84 hours

The clowns are spawning right now , I have taken pictures and video and will have them up later.

Oh, and I almost forgot; the eggs are in the pot again .

Thanks for looking, I'm going to post pictures of the larvae everyday so that everyone can see how they develop and once I'm finished I'll post the best picture from everyday in one post so that everyone can quickly see how they developed.

Well only one larva dead today, but that is bound to happen with some of them. The tank is still full of smiling rotifer gobblers. Today I found some 2.5 day old clowns but I didn't take any pictures, the cool thing was that they were beginning to get pigments on their tails. Here are some pictures of 1.5 days post hatch in a larval clownfish.

Well I got bored and I wanted to see what two extra days of egg development would do, here are the eggs that are hatching tonight. I am not sure how old the eggs are I didn't see them get laid.

Thanks, I'm going to add new picts everyday. I still have about 200 eggs to hatch but none of them have fungused yet and I don't care because the longer that they are in the eggs the larger they will be .

So I tried taking my first pictures of a clownfish larvae under a microscope, here is a gold stripe maroon about 17 hours after hatching at 40x magnification.

Sorry I know that it has been to long since I last updated this journal. I have finally figured how to work my camera so here is my favorite that I have taken in the last few days.

Well the clown laid eggs two days ago, and I got five babies to make it from my 20 larvae that hatched a few weeks ago.

I caught my clowns spawning today while I was cleaning the tank. There are about 500-600 eggs, I'll post pictures of them tomorrow.

I brought four of my babies to Moby Dick today. They grow up so fast I'm going to miss them so much. I still have nine babies I think, now it is time for me to start over and get more eggs .
