ill see what i can do about getting a video but using my camera phone makes it difficult to get a good picture let alone a video .
everything i have found online indicates that they could be O. marina
as far as them not having algae in their gut is because i am not feeding algae . i am feeding them rice bran which is light cream colored and that color does show in the digestive system .

suppose they are O. marina
how do you culture them Jim ?
i assume you feed algae .. possibly rotigrow plus or complete
do you aerate ? how salinity tolerant are they ?
how often do you feed ? how clean should i keep the culture ?
optimal temp, light or no?
any tips on management would be great

Could be. I'd like to see a video, and also have a size reference. The "tight swarms" and "smoke on the water" part sounds right. I don't really think they are positively phototropic, but, rather, they go where the air and/or food is, seems to me. I often see vertical columnar clouds of them in cultures without aeration.

What you are describing sure sounds like O. marina. Some of the ones in your images look about the right shape, while others don't, but that's probably just the angle they were at at the moment the images were taken. If they are O. marina, those in your images sure do look hungry to me! When fed, their insides turn nice and green/brown from the algae they've been eating.

i think i have isolated an O. marina culture!
I couldnt get a quality video to show their locomotion but they swim in circles .
to the naked eye they seem phototrophic and gather in tight swarms near the surface of the cultures creating kind of a smoke on the water appearance in cultures with out aeration .
these guys had just showed up in my cultures out of the blue after i had fed rice bran to my tigriopus .
before i realized what was going on i noticed my tigriopus were all of a sudden gathering in areas exposed to light . tigriopus showing phototrophic tendencies ? upon closer inspection i found the contaminant and realized the tigriopus were eating them and doing very well producing a huge amount of nauplii!
i would like to verify that these are O. marina before i blow some money on calanoid starters .
