It's this one:

I got it from sharper image on sale for $25 when they went out of business.

I'm looking to get this one:

I have the second one you linked. It's great for small stuff like copepods and rotifers but the magnification is too high for larvae after they grow a bit.

The LCD screen and video capability is nice.

So, how do I clean all the dead junk off the bottom of the larva tank?  And where to I get the sieves for rotifers and such?

Hey, for now that microscope I have seems to be working pretty well for me.  It's a tad bit hard to use but it works.

You need to siphon the bottom of the larval tank. A rigid air line works well. See day 8 on this page: http://fishtalpropagations.com/StepByStep.aspx

You can buy the sieves from Florida Aqua Farms or make your own:

I've only got a few babies left.  They are eating but I don't want to stress them out any more.  So no more microscope pics.  I'll find some other way top get pics...

he he if at first you dont succeed!!!  the good news is that this time you dont necessarily need to duplicate your work snapping pics of the fry, so they'll be less stressed I really wanna see this one through post meta!!!  congrats on your second run!

Ugh, dropped the eggs a week ago. I've been busy but they have not been.  Waiting for next spawn...
