Not sure Andy, I'll look into that. I do know that the new female is not from the ORA line.

Update: I was a bit worried for a while and didn't post anything. Since things are going better I'll elaborate on what has happened. The female was doing fine for a while. In late December she stopped eating and started acting like the previous one, but not as bad. I force-fed her twice but found that to be too stressful for her, and me. I decided to let nature "take it's course". I was out of town for NYE weekend and didn't expect her to make it while I was gone. During this time the male was acting normally. Much to my surprise, the female was still alive when I got back from NY. I continued to feed the tank but I never saw the female eat. Finally, on January 19th, I saw her perk up and start eating again! I was extremely surprised to say the least. From what I've read, going that long without feeding is pretty rare. I'm assuming that she must have been eating something while I wasn't watching. Long story short, she's doing fine now and more active than ever. I'm hoping that the pair will decide to pair up and get busy at some point soon.

I've had a few losses but the rest seem to be eating.

Wow great! I think the hardest part is just getting past the initial feeding.

Still have some left, not sure how many. They are pretty good at hiding.

Well that's good news... I think. They must be eating something. More may be on the way.

Hey that's better than I would have done. Besides, it's your first try with seahorses. (It is your first try right?)

Well it is a good start. Hopefully the last one makes it. I'm sure more will be on the way either from me or for sure you will get some from your pair soon enough.
