The Banggai going after the TDO is pretty impressive.

Putting the banggai's in with the occy's made the transfer to TDO easy. I have another round of banngii's on the way with no occy's to teach them. I will post under the banggai's my results.

Water parameters are great. I am doing a15% water change a week. And the light schedule is 14hrs on and 10hrs off.

Are the babies getting a lot of BBS? The timidity might be a lower level of shock from the BBS.

No BBS, I took it away as soon as I got them to eat the TDO. At first BBS is all they would eat. The problem I had was, I would return home from work and they would be huge die offs and they seemed to stop growing. Once switched to TDO I never lost another fish. They have been off BBS for about a month now.

Just guessing but if they got BBS every day I think it could have affected them, I'd just keep on growing them out . Do you have some similar sized outgoing youngsters? To train them?

Looking beautiful now. I have read of BBS fed exclusively having cases of extreme shock dieoffs is why I asked. Lets hear it for TDO!

The banggai's are the only ones I had feed BBS. The occy's never had BBS. Sorry for any confusion. I should have been a little clearer. The babies are looking great though. This has been a cool experience for my kids and I.
