Re: Breeding Journal, Species: Cryptocentrus cinctus - Thursday, September 24, 2015 9:23 PM
I moved them to their new home tank last Sunday. I kept them in their breeder box still in the new tank, and let them get acclimated. Tonight I came home and one, the larger one, had jumped out and was staring at me from the sand.  I am delighted he did this, as I thought it might be time to do it.  He's grown enough that I can probably find him in the uncrowded tank he's in.  I had to evict the smaller watchman from the breeder box, because he didn't want to go, but he's OK, chilling out in a corner.  The baby boggessi shrimp are in there too, getting along OK, and spawning, ahead of their 60 post settlement date.  They are all growing fast.  I wonder how long it will take for the watchmans to spawn should they be so inclined….
