first split today  October 2 - 18 days after establishment
4 original cultures were started with one bottle each of pods from reed mariculture
today we split off everything except the bottom 3 inches and filtered it through a 55 micron mesh and kept the sludge on the bottom
we consolidated the sludge from our 4 cultures into one culture  and restarted the 4 cultures with the strained water

the picture shows the harvest from one bucket
I would say it is easily 4x what we started with

We will be splitting them soon.  They are clearing 6 drops of rotigrow plus per culture daily.
They turned white instead of red.  I have read that it is light.  The only light they get is overhead room light.
I am planning on adding more light to one culture and adding astaxanthin to the feed in another.

They are doing great I just split one culture.  There was about 6 times what we started with.
It is more of a bucket cleaning.  We strain the pods through a 52 to 55 micron mesh depending on what is at hand and put them in a new bucket with clean water.

They are doing fine.  We have not split them for a while.  We just feed them rotigrow + daily.
