Glad to see you taking on 'advanced' fish.  Flames are easy to pair up, if you can find one that you are sure is a female (that's the hard part).  Most look like males in the LFS, but you never know,  If you look in enough fish books you can find information on how to 'sex' some of  the small angels.  I had a small pair in 2001 that started spawning after a few months.  But both jumped out of the tank.  NEVER have a open tank... Good Luck, I am sure you know that Flames have been raise by two different groups in Hawaii in the past.

Not alot going on here.  Still cohabiting in the 135 nicely, and getting some size to them.  I'll keep you guys updated....

2 inch Flames are big enough to spawn, you just have to catch them 'doing it'!
I have a pair for Hawaiian Flames, I should fill out one the the breeding forms.

They're getting very close to 2 inches.  It encurages me that they seem t swoop thrugh the tabk together most of the time.  Usually withing 6 inches of each other all day long.    (except as I write this they're 2 1/2 feet apart, lol!)
