Additional Information Miscellaneous Information: I had a large percentage of mis-bars in the first batch, since then I'm only getting a few, if any, misbars. The Darwins are a bit slower to develop their stipes than regular A. ocellaris but much faster than A. percula. At four months they are still orange but significantly darker that regular ocellaris. They are darker orange from the start so it's easy to pick them out. I'm expecting them to be nearly black by 6-8 months.
I just got in touch with the first owner of the female. She was acquired on June 24, 2004 from Deep Blue Reefs. At that point she was approximately 5 months old and came from ORA and was among one of the first ones they sold.
