Additional Information
Miscellaneous Information:
Another RSF species, originally handed to me from Andrew Berry.  Prolific breeder, capsules very similar to the Nassarius species I am currently working on however egg count is higher.  I will consider examining egg count as population increases in attempts to correlate to Dr. Steven C. McKillups study on egg packaging in response to food availability (population count may also be a factor as is found in many copepods).

You will be required to provide photographic evidence in this thread of each event submitted for the MBI Program.
If your thread does not contain these photos the MBI Committee will not be able to approve your reports.

alrighty, heres the capsules at day two (Jan 25th)

Note... the two capsules close together in the middle (just above the two lower capsules) were the ones spotted Jan 24th.  the rest were laid on day two.  Also interesting to note is the proximity of the egg capsules... I have not seen this phenomena with the Nassarius sp. I have also seen lower egg counts in each capsule, and a tendancy to find darker lit places with the Nassarius sp.  both of these observations will require further study though so dont take them to heart.

1....2  ..... 12....  now 18 egg capsules in the tank.  Hard to tell how many are from these guys or from the Nassarius sp.  however....  I suspect most are from these guys as they are clustered together.  fun stuff!!

Yeah, I'm fairly tempted to try to see if I can breed clubber mantis shrimp. I have a huge supply of food for them. Mike said he'd take another batch off my hands early next week, but I need to find more outlets.
