Flared Gill covers in Clownfish
-
Monday, March 1, 2010 9:21 PM
What is the cause of flared gill covers in clown fish. ? I always seem to end up with several that show this. Its more prominent in fish when they are young, but as they grow to adult size it seems to be a lot less prominent. sanjay.

LOL, what Scottt said. It's all water quality and diet I'm a real big fan of Witt's concepts of new larval rearing setups and pushing for the concept of flow-through larval rearing. It's a strong departure from more ingrained techniques, but it makes a lot of sense.
