I'm looking for something new to breed and I'm wondering if anyone else is looking for pairs. Let us know what you're looking for.

I need 1 clarkii, 1 tomato, 1 orchid dottyback, and 1 maroon. Then my broodstock setup will be full. You were probably thinking Michigan Local though eh?

I'll be looking soon. I will be setting up a small breeding setup soon and will be looking to breed multiple types of nano gobies. I will do so in something like a 20g breeder with a few different breeding nets in it. Each breeding net will house a pair of gobies. I will try neon gobies, eviota gobies, trimma gobies... Also mixed in would possibly be a pair of nano blennies like a pair of two spot bimaculatus blennies. I got that idea from Matt Witt. at the breeders lecture. Of course anything else I find that is unusual I would consider if I have somewhere to put it. The thing is that I don't want to set up a ton more tanks (already have 3, setting up 1 maybe 2 more). I have a lead on a pair really rare blennies but they aren't nano so I would need another tank but IDK about that. Two hundred and eighty dollars later... Oh and as soon as I can get my hands on a pair of fancy coral crouchers again, I will add them to my reef and hopefully they will breed.

Have you come across some info on breeding the Croucher or are you planning to blaze a new trail?

I have read that they will lay their eggs underneath a piece/brach of SPS like an acro after they clear some tissue away in the spot they want to lay the eggs. I would use an SPS that was relatively cheap and not attach it to the rocks. That way, after laying the eggs, I could just move the entire piece of SPS to where ever I will try to hatch and raise the larva. I'll do some more reading once I get another pair but that's it in a nutshell.

Bongo: What type of coral crouchers are you talking about? Some of them that go by that name are, I think, related to scorpionfish and some are gobies (citrons, etc.). If I had the time and money right now, I think I'd be heading off into the basslet realm.
