Additional Information
Miscellaneous Information:

I picked these guys up today on the way home from moving some more stuff from Ypsi back to Chicago.  They were listed as "Sulaneese" Sebae Clowns (Not sure if thats spelled right or not).   Needing room I moved the Keyhole Angels into their own (Temp) tank.  Also added three kinds of macro algae (Fern Caluerpa, Grape Caluerpa, and Ulva).

Picture of the pair: (I think these are sebae, but I'm having trouble finding pics of ones that are this dark with yellow fins)

Re:Breeding Journal: A. sebae (?) - Thursday, May 13, 2010 9:08 PM
Looks like the male is on his way to visit the toilet - I've freshwater dipped him three times (For the brook), and now he's gotten pop-eye.  His respiration was pretty good yesterday, but back to a zillion breaths a minute now.

The female is doing amazingly well - she eats everything!  Looks like they will be on hold till I can get her a new boyfriend.

If the male makes through till tomorrow morning, he'll be going into intensive care QT tank to try and get him to come around.

Till then.

The male is still alive today - although he's  barely moving, at least he's not breathing 40 times a second!

The female is clearly agitated - she's hammering anything that gets near.  I'm setting up  an intensive QT for the male this evening (Going to Meijer to pick up a 10G tank for him).  I'll freshwater dip him again, and then treat the tank with antibiotics to  see if that helps.  I don't think he's eaten since I've gotten him on Monday.

I'd love it if he pulls through - the female is chowing down on everything I throw in the tank, and I bet she'd start laying eggs within a month if he was healthier.

And we are back on!

Female has been staying in a 10G QT tank while I hunted for a local male.  I found two regular ones today for dirt cheap ($18 each), and got both.  They are the regular brownish ones.  The female I have is the black variety.

While both of these guys seem to be bonding (one has white tail stripes (male?) and the other does not) I'm going to try and break them up to see if I can get the black female to accept the male (whichever one it is

Pics when I combine the two!
