Both pairs of my black and white ocellaris stopped laying eggs about 12 weeks ago.  I ran out of juveniles to sell about 3 weeks ago and the stores wanted more...doh!  I was desperate to get them to spawn again so I started feeding more per day and I added about an hour of light to their lighting schedule.  Lo and behold, BOTH pairs started laying eggs again.  The first pair laid a batch on the 27th.  I don't hold much hope for their eggs because they eat most of their eggs every time they've spawned.  My second and reliable pair just laid today!  woohoo
Disappointing spawn.  Less than a hundred eggs but at least they are laying again.  It will get bigger

OK, I took the pot out a day early.  The eggs didn't get bacteria on them but I only saw two larvae out of the maybe 25 eggs that were left on the pot.
Those two are still swimming around and I did see they were eating.

Day 2 and two are still alive.

I've noticed that the stomachs on these little guys are VERY silver when eating Apocyclops.  When they eat rotifers their bellies are silver but not as bright as with the pods.

Well, out of the two larvae that made it past hatch, I still have one left and he's past meta now.

Obviously it's too early to have this guy at 60DPS but here is a batch of my last Darwins.
These guys settled on 12/25/2009 so 60DPS for them was 2/22/2010.
These pictures were taken on 4/21/2010.
