Culturing Journal DataSheet General Species: Brachionus plicatilis Species description: "L" type marine species Culture source (link if possible ): http://www.reedmariculture.com/rotifer/instant.asp Culturing Vessel Details Salinity: 1.025 Temperature: Room Temp ~70F Vessel description: 5g White Bucket Lighting description: Ambient Room Lighting Lighting cycle: None Aeration description: Small Air Pump -> Valve (set low) -> Suction Cup + Tube on the side of the vessel. Methodologies Split methodology: I harvest 1/4 to 1/3 the culture daily. The water volume is replaced with fresh saltwater and more RotiGrow Plus. Culture medium description: RotiGrow Plus is added until water is a light green color. In the bucket a clear plastic cup is used to harvest and observe the coloration. That's a _lot_ of food, but I run them at full-strength saltwater and probably don't have as high a population as you do. Nice photos!
