They really only take 4 days to hatch?!

4 days is all it takes... I have to watch the temps because if I let it get warmer they will start hatching on night 3. 
 
For the first couple of hatches I thought they where being eaten as I was expecting a 7 day period at least.  Turns out I was missing the hatch each time.

I should note that I am not counting the spawn date - someone let me know if I should.  With the spawn date counted it is 5 days.

Had a hatch last night and lost them within hours.  I don't know what went wrong.  No ammonia present in the water.  
 
I had just transferred the larvae and tinted the water and fed rotifers.  Lights where over half the tank.    Transferred larvae from broodstock tank at 83 degrees... temps dropped to 81 in the larvae tank.
