Culturing Vessel Details
Salinity:  1.025-26
Temperature:  ambient (74-78)
Vessel description:  inverted 4 gallon water jug
Lighting description: ambient
Lighting cycle: 14 hrs on/10 hrs off 
Aeration description: slow bubble through rigid airline 

Methodologies
Split methodology: remove 40-50% daily; fed to A. panamensis copepod

Culture medium description:  fed with algae paste twice daily (every 12 hours); use enough to tint water light green. 

Cell count: Unsure but very, very dense; grows extremely quickly

Additional Information
Notes:  this algae is brown so the culture vessel may appear smokey or tinted even when the algae paste is depleted; sieve through small screen (27-53 um) to remove any larger contaminants; clean vessel weekly
