I cannot find anything on Cathigaster solandri specifically, so I'm using information I've found on other Canthigaster species as a supplement. I've found several scientific articles on this genus and will continue to add information as I find it. I've also submitted a species classification request for these guys. You will be required to provide photographic evidence in this thread of each event submitted for the MBI Program. If your thread does not contain these photos the MBI Committee will not be able to approve your reports.

Here are two pics of them in QT. Pardon the dirty glass, the lack of focus, and the crappy white balance

Two more quick pics. They're still in QT but are doing great. They eat like pigs and are very personable, especially the male! "Quit taking my picture and FEED ME!!!"

Good luck with them! How big do these guys get? I guess what I'm really asking is, are they still young 'uns, or are you expecting spawning at this size?

They're not youngsters, though they're probably on the smaller side of breeding size. According to fishbase the maximum size attained for this species is about 4.5", and the male is already approaching 4.
