Species description:  80-120 um

Culturing Vessel Details
Salinity:  Was 1.019 but I increased it to 1.025-6
Temperature:  room temp (@72-77f)
Vessel description:  Bucket, tank or plastic planter
Lighting description:  ambient lighting
Lighting cycle:  14 hrs on/10 hrs off
Aeration description:  gentle airstone

Methodologies
Split methodology: I try to remove some daily but usually it is only twice per week (@ 25% harvested each time)

Culture medium description:  Algae paste twice daily enough to lightly tint the water green.

Cell count: I've never counted but it stays VERY dense

Additional Information
Notes:  After a few initial culture crashes, I've managed to keep a continuous culture going since 2008. I combined B. plicatis and B. rotundiformis at one point but the smaller rotifers have dominated.

**The culture ranges 80-120 um (ss) per an accurate sizing from an aquatic biologist on November 2010**

I had someone size them so I would know for sure!
