well at home the stop breeding fron april to august,
the fry need plenty of rotifers during the first 2 weeks
i add nhbs at day 4 but not sure they eat them
i still have to produce more rotifers to get more fry
but this si just a hobbie to me and i have to work
very nice to read you Luis, do you still want to try this species?

Kudos for your successFew people have raised comets:the problem doesn´t seem to be raising the larvae,but having them spawning.I kept my pair for some years and occasionally the female was found with ragged fins in the morning,a spawning sign,according to Mai.And once I found a dead larva that seemed a comet larva,white with black dots.
Last year I did witness a spawn;the female was still extruding her egg mass.Which shortly later had vanished!

I have the same idea about the sex of them
It was very strange that the first 2 i got were a proven pair
