I have 3 friends that grow these in plastic cups, sitting in an area where the temp is constant. One places them on a heating pad. I have them in a jar inside another tank, just so I dont have to fuss with them. I am just growing them for a friends large tank.

I got these pics through a jewelers loop.

Has anyone tried using these in larvae/grow out tanks to eat hydroids?

There is a discussion somewhere (it escapes me) that Ron Shimek was having with a hobbyist regarding this and I believe the answer was; they don't - it has been tried and failed.

Hey! Cool thing? Since I made this report, I can tell how many days it took those eggs to finally hatch! Yesterday, I looked at them through the spy glass, and a lot of them were gone, and the remaining were bigger. I assumed most had hatched. But, I did not think to take a photo then, darn it. But, today that spot is clean. Does this count as a "Hatch"?
