Making my rounds in the fishroom today and noticed my A. akindynos spawning. Since it was there first spawn, I expected it to be "disorganized" but what I didn't expect was... no eggs! Anyone have any ideas as to why? They "spawned" for hours. Was it a practice run?

Did the anemone get them? Or did they lay on the anemone? I see them on the intake/outlet tube, but can you check the anem? Or could have just been a test run to see how you'd respond

I'll take a peek at the anemone for the heck of it, but you are right, they were spawning on the drain. One other thing I did notice but thought "na" was every time she made a pass, "stuff" started floating in the water column. Suppose the eggs didn't stick? The reason I thought it was doubtful was the "stuff" was more white in color; not the orange that I would expect. Very well could have been... let's psych this chick out.
