Additional Information

(No Pictures or Videos in the Section Please)
Miscellaneous Information:
Pair obtained from local reef hobbyist as juveniles on 10/16/2010.  Fish are favorite of my 3 year old son, who has named them "Ketchup and Pizza Sauce"

Pair died, along with several other pairs on 4/23/11.  We had a flood in our basement (fish room is in basement).  My wife sprayed Lysol in room adjacent to the fish room to prevent mold from growing on the children's toys and the carpet.  We were running fans in the basement which probably kept the Lysol suspended in the air for a longer period of time.  I lost a total of 11 pairs of fish, including three spawning pairs - the tomatoes included.

You will be required to provide photographic or video evidence in this thread of each event submitted for the MBI Program.

So sorry to hear you lost the pair, but do you have the babies still?  Perhaps you can set up a new pair via their offspring...keep them going in spirit!

I still have the 31 frenatus babies.  The Lysol incident was very sad but interesting.  Adult fish fared far worse than young fish.  I didn't lose a single ocellaris under 6 months of age.  Unfortunately, I lost all of my "high end" clownfish - picasso/platinum pair, Rod's onyx pair, breeding O's etc.

Very sad,

John

Yikes! I missed the Lysol incident. Very sad indeed. Might be a topic that should be presented so others can avoid the same issue.
