Are you having good luck using the 2L bottle for your rotifers? I find that white 5G buckets work really well. Also, rotifers don't need light, you can save a little $ by not lighting them.

I see tons of pods....but where are the rotifers?

I can't get em to slow down. I need to try to strain some out.

one of them finally loaded. This is sieved through 53um and caught with a 25um screen.

I'm going to get a new culture started on this. I had a video that I saw some in, then it wouldn't upload. Then I took a shorter one, and couldn't make any out. Here it is. If you see any then let me know. If not, no biggie. Got a new start coming.

What you have there is a fantastic culture of probably Apocyclops panamensis, since you got rotifers from me.  They got in my rotifer culture, and are thriving there.  Also, if you got them from me any rotifers are not plicatilis, they are rotundiform.  Sorry.
 
Rotifers are smaller and move with a wandering, not a darting motion.
