I noticed the patch off eggs looked a little thinner two days ago so I pulled the pot. The first night about 2 clowns hatched and then last night the rest of them did. I have no idea how many there are but at least 100 at this point. I will try to get a pic or video soon.

The fry are on day 6 and I started adding Oto A today. Actually most of them are on Day 5 and a few on Day 6. I had some die but overall there are probably 50+ left.

The parents laid their second clutch of eggs and there seem to be even more. This was 2 days ago and the eggs were much oranger this time. I guess I need to set up another larval rearing tank. Not sure how many batches of eggs I should try to raise in a row??

Will try to get pics of the fry and new eggs later today.

The clutches will improve as the pair gets the hang of things. You can't really keep every clutch unless you have a lot of room and want to do a lot more work.

Dont forget, you got to find a place to take all these fry once they are ready. This is probablly the most limiting factor of breeding fish. I raised my Clarkiis in November I started with 10 and still have 3 of them left 7 months later.

Thanks.

I plan on raising the first two batches and see what happens from there. Once I have some that I can sell I will test out the LFS in the area and see if there is any interest. If there isn't much I will just raise a few here and there.

Most of them look like they have gone through meta so I will try to get some pics soon. They definitely are growing much faster than the clutch of Darwins I tried to raise.

Does this count as "settlement". This one has 2 stripes already. I have about 20 left at this point with a new batch ready to hatch tonight. Best pics I could get.

Here is a pic for the 60 dps:

I have sold 12 of them to a LFS by me and the rest are doing great. I really like the one in the bottom left with the spot.

60 days is the standard set at MBI past settlement. Congrats!  Now just give them eight or nine months to get the gold on the stripes
