Update:

All fry dropped off at around day 14. I think for environmental reasons. They made it to about 12mm.

I may have also lost the female in my pair. I have not seen her in quite some time and the male does not appear to be holding eggs regularly as he was. I certainly hope I'm wrong

The female did in fact pass on. Since then I've introduced two other smaller female specimens both disappearing within a week. I'm going to try to source a larger female. Both the previous fish were on the small side.

The male has not been successfully rematched with a small female They swim together as a good pair should.
