Been on this thread from the get go. I have been over a lot of this with Mr.Pedersen in a chain of pm's. I understand and agree with his viewpoint. Due to our conversations and Mr.Pedersens free flowing knowledge and expertise as a breeder, we are looking into breeding several other species outside of the Clownfish "craze" at hand. It will run its course in time and fade away. As a breeder, I see the need to diversify our efforts and start down the long hard, non-profitable road of never before bred in captivity species. That being said, it is best suited for its own thread when the time is right.

On this topic of ora and their stance on hybrids, WC, CB and so forth. I have been over this with Dustin Dorton (pres. of ora) It is simple, they are a FOR profit COMPANY. They despise private breeders that might be succesful with a species that they are or want to work on. Do you really blame them? You really cant, they are a business and I understand that. Do I agree with every method they use? NOT IN ANY WAY!! I have made my feelings widely known about ora. But in the end they are a business that wants to make money. The post shared from RC is a crock if you ask me, all it does is show us all the level of greed behind what they are doing IMHO! ora will never change what they do or how they go about doing it, one could just hope that they really do care about preservation and breed species that truley need to be bred in captivity and saved from being wiped out in the worlds reefs. Only time will tell..........
Our goal with "The Clown Factory" is simple....Raise healthy, beautiful, captive clownfish and ...his is our small part to help keep the Worlds reefs as God intended them to be.....Beautiful
