I pulled the pot last night and woke up to only one living fry. I found about 20 dead ones on the bottom of the pot. There are still about 8 of them on the top of the pot so maybe they will hatch tonight.

Thanks Brian. I didn't end up having any make it past a few hours. Maybe next time will be better.

IME, Picassos are more difficult to raise. Less frequent spawns, fewer eggs, higher mortality. Odds get better as time goes by but  the frequency doesn't seem to increase.

I agree. The best I have done is ~110 but mostly it's in the 20-30 range. I also had 0% success for the first 8 clutches. Mmmm, maybe they(picasso's) should be a class B..........here is holding out hope.

Finally had some success with these guys. First clutch reulted in 5 still alive with 2 being platinums, 2 picassos and 1 normal. The next batch I have 4 and they are just changing now. Had another hatch out 2 nights ago and there around 30-40 larvae. Here are some pics (sorry they are so poor, from a phone) They are currently in a breeder net while I make some room for them in the grow out system.
