Species:  A. ocellaris Cube#1 
Social Structure:  Previously Spawned pair
Size of Individuals: F:3 inches M: 2 inches 
Age of Individuals:  unknown
Date added to Tank:  March 2011
Background info on Fish: These fish were bought as spawning pairs we purchased from Tom Frakes. They have yet to spawn since being added to our system.
 
Broodstock Tank Details
Size of Tank:  #1 cube of a 4Ft. 3-Cube Seaclear system. Central system of about 170 gallons total. 
Substrate Details:  bare bottom w/ 4" clay pot 
Filtration Details: 50 gal. rubbermaid sump. 1/3 hp chiller , 57 watt UV sterilizer, approx 60 lbs live rock, and ASM 5 proteing skimmer.
Water Changes:  siphon detritus daily or every other day. 30 gallon partial once per week.
Water Temperature:  81
Lighting:  4' Coralife 10K t-8 bulb.
Lighting Cycle:  13 on/11 off 8AM-9PM
Other Tank Inhabitants:  None

Broodstock Feeding Details
Food Types:  Fish roe, Omega Sea mysis shrimp (Frozen), Omega Sea Chopped Krill (Frozen), Omega Sea Super Brine Shrimp (Frozen) Omega Sea First Flake, Brine Shrimp Direct Flake Food. Add selo and soak thawed frozen food.
Feeding Schedule:  3 to 4 times per day six days per week. One day on weekend of one feeding that day.  
 
Spawning Details
Date of First Spawn:  09/08/2011- first spawn with us. Ate eggs before discovering.
Spawn Time of Day: approx. 5pm-7pm

Courtship Details: unknown. Had seen rubbing in clay pot prior to finding eggs.

The photo does not due the male justice. He is the most beautiful deep orange i have ever seen in a clownfish. Unfortunately they are picky eaters. Do not care for mysis shrimp much. A little wiggling in the pots here and there, but no definitive signs of laying eggs soon. Would love to see the offspring from these.

So after seeing that cube #2 and #4 laid nests tonight. I noticed the same white sticky areas in the pot but no eggs. Assuming they laid but ate eggs. Pic to be posted tomorrow.

You can see where they laid eggs. I am assuming they ate them immediately.

Got another spawn on 09/22/11. Going to let this one go also. Not ready to pull more nests.
