I acquired several E. figaro from a LFS (they got them from ORA) in July of 2009.  After a few days of fighting a pair was established.  The remaining fish went back to the LFS (I regretted this later on).
Two 1", capped PVC "caves" were added to the tank.  Within a couple months I noticed eggs.  On first harvest, they all hatched when removed from the tank, spilling into the larvae tank.  This was quite startling!  However, all seemed fine and rotifers and green water was added.
This was one of my first attempts at raising something other than clownfish and did not end well.  Larvae did not survive past 3dph on two attempts.  At the time, I was not educated (or really focused for that matter) to know what had happened.
My female died shortly after her second spawn and for some reason there seemed to be a E. figaro shortage in the industry so I did not get a replacement.  The male went on to live in my Solana reef until this past summer when he disappeared.
E. figaro is a personal favorite of mine and hope to acquire some more potential broodstock soon and try this all over again applying new learned techniques and maybe figure out what happened two years ago to my first attempts.
