At 16 dph all larvae are taking enriched artemia , adult Tigriopus and tdo b1.
I have been supplementing rotifers to tide them over between feedings .
These guys are great hunters! I had a great time watching them Chase down the adult tigriopus .

i had a few slow developers that hadnt started
meta until day 12 - 13 dph . shortly after the
slow developers had undergone meta and
settled to the side and bottom of the brt . i
realize this was unusually slow . the majority of
this batch hit meta some what uniformly with
only a couple days between each other . it
seemed the slow ones had caught up in growth
to the large ones in a short period of time after
starting meta and missed the limbo phase
before settling to a benthic location in the brt.
12/21 was the day i noticed all larvae had
settled to a benthic location and none were still
in the water column . during this batch i had a
heater malfunction on days 6 and 7 dph that
had over heated to 88F then i over corrected
and temp had dropped to 78F before finally
getting it dialed back in to my 82- 84F range . i
wonder if this had anything to do with the
delayed meta

heres a shot of one that has an unusual bar taken 64 days after settlement began and 47 days after settlement ended on 2/5/12 .
this batch took 17 days from settlement start to finish. i believe the delayed development was due to a temperature drop in the larval tub before settlement
