Moving fish from RBT to Growout - Thursday, December 8, 2011 9:36 AM

I have my first three batches of clown fish all now with stripes.
In total I have about 20 Tomato, 60 Ocellaris (may be percs, apparently the pics look like percs) and 30 clarkii.
I have a partitioned tank I can use for grow out.
Sponge filters have been running in my breeder sump for 4 weeks+ now so they should be good and seasoned.
The tank I want to use for grow out dont have water at the moment.

I was planning on moving all three batches of fish 1/2 each into each of the grow outs.  So that if I have an issue, I only loose 1/2.
Is it likely that they will all get along?  Between types?

Or is this a very bad idea?

The grow out tank is a 4' x 1.5' x 1' with a separator  in the middle making it two separate tanks.
The only filtration will be sponge filters and regular water changes.

Any comments would be appreciated.

It mainly depends on the size of the fish and the difference in size between species. When small, fish don't normally have their full agression and can get along quite well between the different species. I know that Tal groups his percs and black occys together in grow out. all mine are of different ages and sizes and are starting to show agression so I have my occys and percs seperated.

Sorry, I meant to add that exact detail.  They are within 2 days of each other.
The occys are a tiny bit smaller that the other two batches.
