Species: Maroon/ percula hybrid x picasso percula 
Social Structure:  pair
Size of Individuals: female maroon is 4-5 inches, male picasso is 2 inches 
Age of Individuals:  maroon ~5 years, percula is around 1 year
Date added to Tank:  September 2011

Here are some pictures of Bertha the Maroon and Mack the picasso.


surprisingly Bertha is timid and hides in the anemone and mack gets the run of the tank.
 
here's a picture of Bertha when I first got her from Adam. you can see her stripe patterns a lot better.

Personal choice but +1 on the above, why noy pair with a maroon?

maroons never really caught my eye, but this one and the gold stripes. I love the way she has great qualities of both the maroon and the percula. maroon figure with percula temper and a good mix of both in the stripes. I thought about pairing her up with a GSM but why not a picasso. see what kind of babies come from it. I know a lot of people don't like the idea of hybridization but if it makes something thats healthy and people like then less market for wild caught fish.
