Species:  Isochrysis galbana
Species description:  Inoculation of AlgaGen's PhycoPure copepod blend, containing Isochrysis galbana and Chaetoceros diatom

Culturing Vessel Details
Salinity:  1.020
Temperature:    Ambient, about 75 degrees F
pH:  unmeasured

Vessel description:  Florida Aqua Farms culture bags: 7.5 L square bottom bag, 6 inch x 4 inch x 22 inch. Each bag holds about 3 liters in my phytoplankton culture station.
Lighting description:  Two 23 watt Soft White CFLs for two bags
Lighting cycle:  16 hours on
Aeration description:  A good "boiling" aeration (no stone)

Methodologies
Split methodology: Once a week, if the culture is dark brown, I take one bag and half goes into the refrigerator for feeding parvocalanus and rotifers. I fill the bag back up with sterilized artificial seawater.

Culture medium description: 
I use "f strength" dose of MICRO ALGAE GROW from Florida Aqua Farms. I sterilize the artificial seawater with bleach and then dechlorinator.

Cell count:
I can't accurately measure it. It's pretty dark golden-brown.

Notes: 
Although I started with the Iso and the diatom Chaetoceros in my culture, I have not found any sign of the diatom under microscopic examination of the culture.

Left bag was half harvested and I am sterilizing seawater to refill it

 
At 40x with 10x recticle. I wish I could do better.
