Day 3.
Since i dont know when the  male will release eggs, I decided to put him in another tank with sponge filter and water from my tank.

25% fry got released. male still hold lots of eggs and still in larval tank.

Saw these in person over the weekend - Mike had 'em at 16 days post hatch and eating baby brine shrimp!

1 batch was all dead because I went out of town for the weeknd.
2 batch..Male released on 2/11 and I have only 5 left.

and you were successful up to day 20 with just starting them on L strain roti's as first prey? Nothing smaller?

Parents RIP last year. If i can get them fry to 3months old, i will be the first to breed this species.
L rotifers and bbs nothing else

cool! sad day to hear the parents RIP too... They are such beautiful fish....! I would like a school in my reef tank along with my banggai's.  Do you know where I can find some? It seems I can't locate a seller for these as of late.
