General
Species:  Amphiprion percula (onyx variant)
Social Structure:  Pair
Size of Individuals:  Female - 3 inches, Male - 2.5 inches
Age of Individuals:  Unknown, I got them as young adults/juveniles in June or July of 2010, replaced male in September or October of 2010
Date added to Tank:  June or July of 2010

Broodstock Tank Details
Size of Tank:  Standard 10 gallon
Substrate Details:  bare bottom
Filtration Details:  Hooked into system with 5 other pairs of fish. 55 gallon sump with around 100 pounds of rock. Octopus NW-200 skimmer. Ball of chaetomorpha in sump.
Water Changes:  10% every few weeks
Water Temperature:  around 80 degrees Farenheit. I don't have a thermometer on the system.
Lighting:  two 40 watt t12 bulbs (shop light)
Lighting Cycle:  15 on, 9 off
Other Tank Inhabitants:  one astrea snail

Broodstock Feeding Details
Food Types:  formula 1 pellets, live brine shrimp, homemade mix of seafood (shrimp, clam, scallop, fish, vita-chem, nannochloropsis, rotifers, brine shrimp, cyclopeeze)
Feeding Schedule:  usually twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening

Spawning Details
Date of First Spawn:  I don't remember
Spawn Time of Day:  early afternoon
Dates of Consecutive Spawns:  Feb 11, 2012, then Feb 22, 2012
Courtship Details:  I've never actually seen them spawn
Egg Size:  2mm
Egg Color:  Orange turning to black/silver
Egg Count:  300? A circle of 2 inches or so.

Miscellaneous Information: 
I got the pair in the summer of 2010, but the male died about a month later. I replaced him with a juvenile in September or October of 2010. It took them about 9 months to start spawning.

These guys spawned again a couple days ago. I didn't pay much attention to the spawn from the 10th. Their tank ended up getting lots of ammonia in it, and they only made it 4 or 5 days. Maybe I'll try again with this batch. There may not be enough rotifers though. We'll see.
