If there was no other fish PAIR other than the clowns in that tank, I'd say clown eggs. Blennies are not internally fertilized so a pair would also be needed to have fertilized eggs. The weird thing is that by day 14 you should be able to recognize those larvae as clownfishes, I guess...

Im 100% sure they are not clownfish by looking at them now. I have reared hundred of clown so i know what a clown fry looks like. A pic under the scope my friend took at day 1.

This is indeed quite strange. How long were the eggs in the pot? You said the blenny was removed a month ago so if the eggs showed up after that they can't possibly blenny eggs. Not to mention there was no one to fertilize them. The larvae don't look like clowns though. You sir, have a little mystery on your hands. Enjoy!

Fishtal, I just posted what that guy told me. To me, I think he had a pair of blenny in there that laid those eggs. After they laid eggs, he removed them and told me there were clownfish eggs so i can buy the pair. When i got to his house for pick up, I looked at the pot and knew they were not clownfish eggs. I told him about it and even showed a few picture of my clownfish eggs so he can compare. I went ahead and bought the pair but didnt pay for spawning pair price and he agreed to it. Took the flowerpot home on day 6 and they hatched the next night. I think he is not telling me the whole story. LOL

From the first post I thought the the other guy was trustable. I guess I was just naive or dumb. It resembles the nest of a starry blenny I saw online somewhere and probably other related blennies...

Not plan on raising them when i found out they were molly miller blenny but Matt Pedersen told me to raise it once to learn from it. If i can raise them to settlement, I will give some free to everyone since i dont need them. I can always go to Galveston if i need some for myself. KatyL will be the first to get more then everyone else.
