Miscellaneous Information:

I transferred these to my posession with the rock, eggs, and BTA that was their host.  They continued to care for the eggs and spawned right away in my system.  Another interesting note is the black color on the male.  He has lost and regained it when the previous owner got him. He lost it when I got him but has yet to regain it.  Hopefully in the future he will.

That is the best estimate I could come up with on the overall age.  The person I got them from had them like 6 years and she believed that the person she got them from had them over two years.  They are a pair that originates from Inland Aquatics.

Day 4.  Not the greatest picture.  This is my first batch and I was not using Roti-Grow+ for greenwater yet so I battled keeping them off the sides.

Day 8.  Meta is just beginning.  If you look close you can see the head stripe on the one by the heater.

Here is settlement.  I like this picture because it really shows them orientating to the current.  In this vessel the settled larvae would typically be found in this pattern.

Transfer to growout.

93DPS.  3RD Stripe just beginning.  This fish is necessarily a misbar.  Look close and you can see a touch of white on the belly.  This would often come up and close the bar with these onyx.  It was interesting to see.
