Several months ago I purchased a proven breeding pair of Darwin Clowns. I have them in a 75G reef, the only other fish in the tank are a "bonded pair" of Firefish. The reef tank is an established tank, stocked with LPS and Softies and one small RBTA.
The clowns live in a terra-cotta pot and rarely venture out but hover at the entrance of the pot. They will dart out to grab food, but quickly dart back in after a few bites.

I alternate what I feed but they don't like the Rod's at all, be it the breeder or fish only. They nip and let it float by. They go nuts for the Mariner Plus Flakes!

They eat, live in the pot, but that is it. I have adjusted the temps from 79 to the 85 they are currently at. The breeder I got them from said he only had them spawn when he had the temps at 85, so I am trying this, but nothing... I think they have become platonic and or they are like an old married couple, sex is no longer in the picture
Any tips? Is this just a waiting game? Any tricks?
