Submitting New Reports

After you'have filled out a species journal with event data, such as a hatch event, you can submit a report in order to get MBI points. Only one report per event, per species is allowed.

To fill out your report simply go to the dashboard:
http://www.mbisite.org/Dashboard.aspx and select the type of report you want to submit. (Spawn, hatch, settlement or 60 days post-settlement)

Each report must be linked to the appropriate journal. Once you have linked your journal to your report most of the fields should populate on their own but please double check that all data is correct and matches your journal. If the data does not match it will slow down the approval process.

Please be sure to include as much information as you can and correct any spelling or punctuation errors before submitting your report. If there are errors or discrepancies between your journal and report you will be asked to correct them.

Each time you change a report the approval process has to start over so making sure the data is correct makes things go much easier.

Each report has to be approved by three members of the MBI Council or the Report Review Board before you will be awarded points. It is the intent of the MBI to make journals and reports as comprehensive and useful as possible for future users.
