Courtship Details: Some displaying from male who will chase the female, some dancing followed by a slow rise to the surface where the spawn event occurs. The fish then retire to their sleeping places.
Egg Size: Small, unmeasured but less than 1 mm

Egg Count: uncounted but estimate between 50 and 200

Hatch Time of Day: The eggs hatch in the 12- 14 hours after the spawn, they resemble an egg with a tail.

Larvae Description: between spawn and 4 days they develop from pro larvae to larvae on day 4 they have an obvious mouth and the eye is developed
