Just wondering if any one is dosing vodka in broodstock tanks, I've read about doing it in a reef is there any difference when dosing broodstock? Any one have any links or advice?

I'm only dosing my reef, but like with a reef, I'd only do it if you have a properly sized and well-tuned skimmer in place. I think vodka dosing ROCKS to reduce nitrates! It also helps prevent green algae on the glass, but replaces it with a white bacterial film that still must be removed, but is much easier to maintain. Offhand, I can't see any reason not to do it on a broodstock system, as long as you have a decent skimmer running, and also make sure that the system water is well oxygenated.
