Species:  Amphiprion occelaris
Social Structure:   Pair
Size of Individuals:  Male is just over 2" female around 3"
Age of Individuals:  Unknown, I brought these home from the tank in the University lab.

Broodstock Tank Details
Size of Tank:  20 gallon High 12"x24"X18"
Substrate Details:  Crushed Coral
Filtration Details:  Hammburg mattenfilter 
Water Changes:  monthly 30-40%
Water Temperature:  80ºF
Lighting:  32W T8 x 2
Lighting Cycle:  12hrs on 12 off
Other Tank Inhabitants:  None

Broodstock Feeding Details
Food Types:  Tetra bits, Omega one Marine, Assorted Repashy gel foods, Mysis.
Feeding Schedule:  twice daily 

Spawning Details
Date of First Spawn: 3/6/13    
Spawn Time of Day:  unknown, eggs discovered about 5pm
Dates of Consecutive Spawns:  Spawns about every 12 days, eggs generally appear again a couple of days following previous hatch
Courtship Details:   Pair cleaned out a patch on their flower pot and have consistently used the same spot.
Egg Size:  1mm or so
Egg Color:  Orange, turn dark on day 3
Egg Count:  hundreds initially, now down to probably 70-80

Hatch Date:  3/12/13
Hatch Time of Day:   1 hour after lights out

Larvae Description:   2-3mm in size, clear with white dot in the center

Larval Feeding Details
Food Types:  Rotifers, otihime and bbs
Feeding Schedule:  started on day 4, twice daily.  Rotifers are set up in greenwater

Metamorphosis/Settlement
Date of Settlement Start:  3/25/13
Days after Hatch:  13
Date of Settlement End:   3/30/13
Description of Fry:  Body is much more squat in appearance, Darkened color and now "Wiggling" instead of swimming, About 1/4" in size.  2nd stripe is becoming more visible.

Additional Information
Even at nearly 2 months post settlement, one of the 7 surviving fry only has a head stripe.  The rest appear to be completely typical.

Well , no luck. Last night waiting for the hat b I checked on them right before lights out and thu were all there. About two hours after lights out I checked on them and all but three bad hatched but I was unable to attract any larvae to my light, nor see them in the tank. Should have eggs again in a day or two and I've ordered a larvae trap to give that a try.

Here is a video of my 4 day old larvae, I have about 50 left from 200, I lost a lot the first night.

47 days post settlement, The largest of the 8 remaining is about an inch or so, one of has only the head stripe.
