I would like to note that I did pull the first batch of eggs early in the afternoon before I assumed they would hatch, I did not know what time they would hatch. Previous goby species for me had always hatched around 3pm. So I pulled the spawning cave and knowing that artificial incubation can have issues with fungus, bacteria, etc., I gave a formalin bath (1.5ml/1L) for 10min, and placed in a 25gal round tub with "sterile", aged, fresh saltwater. The spawning cave was fixed in a vertical position with aeration placed underneath. The eggs hatched shortly after lights out.
