juvenile cinnamon clowns.

I have 2 juvenile cinnamon clowns about 3 months old. I was wondering that since they are a variety that has only one stripe as adults, when do the juveniles loose their extra stripes. Since there are only 2 of them, I expect that they will pair off and become male and female fairly early. When they settled one had a full head stripe and a full midbody stripe , the other had a full head stripe and a partial body stripe. Now both have partial body stripes. So I'm wondering if they take their adult coloring when they assume their sex.

I have cinnamon babies that have lost the extra stripes by three or four months but I also have babies that are 8 months and still have some of the extra stripes. I think it's going to have more to do with the size of the fish, and since you have only the two they might grow quick and loose them faster. I have also noticed a good amount of variation in when thier fins turn black and when thier sides darken.
