Picture of the tank: Picture of the happy couple, male in front: I will try to get a better pic of the male with the eggs in its mouth. You can tell he's holding in the pic above, but I've only glimpsed the eggs once thus far.

Today, 3/15/13 we noticed another male was also holding. Trying to get pictures of both together, but that might not happen. Something in the tank has put them in the mood

Nice job, that is a beautiful pair you have there. If the male is holding the eggs, hope you can raise them successfully.

Here are some pics of the other male from today. At least I am pretty sure it is the other male, their markings are slightly different. You can kind of see a pinkish hue inside (eggs) as well as the tell tale bulge. Is this enough evidence for a spawn report? Don't know if I need to try and get better pictures of the eggs themselves (he doesn't want to show them off that often!)

The male found to be holding 3/9/13 still has a mouthful of eggs. The male found holding on 3/15/13 (close ups on post #4) apparently ate some of his. You can tell he is still holding, but there are less. I am curious as to how long incubation time will be. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information available for this species online, 2-3 weeks perhaps?

Neither male was holding eggs as of 3/30/13. It is possible the first male's eggs could have hatched, but I am guessing the 2nd male ate his. They were both eating heartily when we fed the tank. Let's hope for better luck next time!

Good news! The couple from post #2 has spawned again. The male has a mouthful and has been aerating them a lot more this time so I've been able to see them more clearly. Of course, as soon as I turned off the video, he showed them to me! Will keep trying
