Hey good looking parents I have a pair almost exactly like them... had a few questions for you if you don't mind, I've been looking for someone with a similar pair of clarkii's to compare notes with. what salinity do you raise your fry at? and how long do they stay on roti's (do you feed your own froti cultures live phyto or pre bought phyto?)

Same salinity as the parent(1.025)
I feed them rotifers for a week and add BBS
I use L Rotifers and feed  rotigrow plus to them.

Hey Thanks for the insight, I am finding several clarkii breeders with this african variety have pretty similar numbers as far as success rates...just thought I would compare notes and see if there is something we are all doing or someone is doing differently to get better success rates.

I also feed L roti's for a week and then add/switch to BBS and start OTO series by (week 3).... Looks like we are getting similar success rates with survival... (maybe just a tough clownfish to raise?) Just wondering how many you've kept going from this second batch, was 8 the last I read...still that many? congrats on that!

To date I have had only a couple survive from each batch to still working through the kinks I guess. This next batch I am going to switch to Utah brine shrimp straight away (supposed to hatch out at the same size as L rotifers) going to see if this might help.

Thanks for the information swapping, I sure appreciate it...always good to hear of someone else's success with these crazy clowns!
